There are two routes available, the Swisha route and the Jim&#8217;s Lake Road route. The Swisha route is the shorter of the two and there is more opportunity to see Moose and other wildlife along that route. The Jim&#8217;s Lake Road route is a longer but straighter road. Depending on rainfall and traffic, either road can become somewhat rough; on the whole Jim&#8217;s Lake Road is smoother than the Swisha.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-0c0579a elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"0c0579a\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-cdd5f00\" data-id=\"cdd5f00\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-74bd2ef elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"74bd2ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>From Ottawa, take hwy 417 west to Rolphton, ON (apx. 260 kms), take the bridge to Rapides des Jochimes, QC (aka Swisha).\u00a0Look for signage of Air Swisha and Rapid des Jochimes. Go through the town of Rapides des Jochimes and turn right on ch. Demoines into the ZEC Rapides des Jochimes, stop at the ZEC office to check in, there is a $8.00 charge to use the ZEC roads. It is 84KMS from the ZEC Office to Domaine Stoddart and Lac Nilgaut.
